Should we resign Carson? I say no. Here’s why.
Post Body

[[I’d just like to start off by saying Carson 100% deserves to gets paid and I hope he does get paid, just not by us.]]

Chris Carson Injury History

High school: Torn ACL

Junior Year: Sprained Knee

Senior Year: Broken Thumb

(17) : Fractured Leg / Ankle (Wk4, OutForSeason)

(18) : Hip Issues (Wk4, Wk10)

(19) : Fractured Hip (Wk17, OutForSeason)

(20) : Sprained Knee / Foot (TBD) (Wk4 / Wk6)

Carson is the definition of a glass cannon, amazing when healthy, but healthy isn’t often. Seattle also loves to keep a stable of 3 or 4 RBs at all time. The only year Carson played more than 50% of total snaps was 2019; the same year he lead all RBs in fumbles at 7.

Seattle being a ground and pound, heavily physical offense when it comes to the run; in addition to a position which seems to be easily replaceable and not long-lived, should Seattle pay a man who’s durability is in question every year? No.
