i currently create online courses and am new to writing scripts.
the courses have little 2-3 min scenes that set up a situation to illustrate a very specific topic. the scenes usually involve 1-3 actors.
i've grabbed most of the books y'all have recommended in this sub (from the library).
but those texts tend to be focused on more complex development than i'm doing - and rightfully so!
i'm just wondering if you've stumbled across literally anything that's helped you:
create snappy & interesting dialogue (i loved that in-depth post about types of dialogue and am using it already)
consider what the writing will sound like when acted
throwing rocks at your hero
it can be an off-the-beaten path resource (as an example: some of the best management tips i got from a book about parenting).
i switched careers and feel out of my depth and welcome any ideas y'all have!
