Hello!
I am probably way newer to screenwriting than most of you guys. Writing/ directing has always been something I've been interested in but never had a chance to give it a real shot until recently.
I've been trying to write features/ short films but I always seem to run into the same problem: I'll have an idea and outline it out with some basic notes. Then I'll start writing and eventually when I get to the around middle of the story, I'll freeze up. I'll run out of ideas or maybe start going back over the beginning of my story and start feeling like I don't like it anymore. Any ideas of what to do in this situation?
Also do you guys know of any free or cheap resources for self taught screenwriters/ filmmakers? Classes or videos or anything like that.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
