Why do people hate on Mindy Meeks?

I see a lot of commenters calling Mindy rude or “b*tchy” & saying that they hate her character… but , why?
Out of the core 4, she’s gotten less screen time. Plus, she was only “rude” to Ethan in Scream 6. But, she had her radar on for Ethan being the killer.. which turned out to be true.
I also see people calling Mindy a “know-it-all” , yet they praise Randy’s character like no other. Mindy is literally the new Randy.
So why do people not like her character? I can’t find a reason.
