OKAY REDDIT, help me out here.
This is a job listing I found on Craigslist tonight. I do something kind of similar to this- in that I work from home as an operator for an after-hours answering service- and I found my job on Craigslist too. My job (which I've had for about a year and a half) is totally legit and it also had a hotline you called up and left a message on as an audition of sorts... JUST LIKE THIS LISTING.
What makes me suspect is:
- how much they're offering an hour.
- I can't find anything about them when I google the phone number and there was ZERO info on them on Beenverified.com. I know its common for businesses to not list their business names on these kinds of craigslist ads but I can't find them listed with any keywords I see in the post. I don't see them listed on any scam lists either.
- bad grammar- not the worst writing I've ever read, but for some reason, that's a red flag. The listing for my current job was WELL WRITTEN, professional, and gave really explicit instructions on what they wanted in the audition voicemail.
- I called the number and its very boiler plate -leave a message after the beep...
So what do you guys think?
PLS HELP ME REDDIT. IF ITS LEGIT, I NEED TO BE MAKING THAT MONEY FOR THE LORD!!!
