Growing up, I was brought up in a very Christian house hold and I knew that there was a bit more to the Latino culture then just Christianity. Every time I would ask family if there was ever more they would ignore or just say no and end the conversation. As I got older and started asking more and more questions then begin to tell me only a few bad things about it. But I was confused on how such a culturally powerful thing such as Santeria is that bad. So I began to look into it and after taking a DNA test and finding out I was part Cuban I took more of a major interest into it. I’ve only ever tried sun form of witchcraft before. But I ended up having sleep paralysis 2 two weeks every time I tried sleeping in my own bed at home. I’ve personally looked into santeria myself and reading books on it to better understand that culture, I would really like to talk to somebody who practices the faith or at least get to know their experiences on it especially meeting people in Boston please tell me your experience and journeys
