This is a Christmas thank you, and for reasons I'm not going into, it is very late.
I wish I was able to let you know how much it meant to me that every child in this house was able to have gifts on Christmas. Having trouble figuring out how to attach a picture, but every item has been loved. And loved, and loved, and again and then again.
The eldest brother is clever enough to have been aware of household circumstances. So, he wasn't expecting anything. Now, of course, he is breaking on the new wheels for his skateboard.
We've played taco vs. burrito with the neighborhood kids. (moldy bread and eyeballs are our favorite ingredients) Candyland has been played more times than I can count (my daughter cheats).
Half the time my youngest brother is just pretending to listen because he's secretly got ear buds in and is rocking out. Of course he could also just be hiding in the closet reading one of Douglas Adams' masterpieces. (He won't stop quoting the books and then he judges me when I don't recognize the quote... send help)
In conclusion we are saying thank you, thank you, thank you. These moments of joy fill my heart and recharge me during a rather tumultuous time. With love, one last time, THANK YOU!!!
