MightyText is an extension you can install for Chrome that lets you type out a text from your computer, but sends it directly from your phone. The advantage is that you can send a text to multiple numbers as individual texts rather than a group text. So, you can type your message, enter 100 numbers, and as a result send 100 individual messages to 100 people. There's a limit of 500 messages per month, though.
