How do I feed these?

I don’t know how people own these. The guy at the store told me they eat sponges, and I’ve only ever seen 2 sponges in my tank. I would love to buy one because they come it awesome colors but I don’t know how to feed it. Anyone here have luck keeping these? If so please let me know how to feed it🙏
