Hey guys, so I tested positive for covid yesterday and I did everything I was supposed to do (call the store right away, talk to the boss, send her a picture of my covid test and vaccine card, call medcor and do their screening). I was told that that's all I had to do and that covid pay would follow (although there was some confusion on whether we get paid for just the days we should have been working that we miss or period. One of my friends who had covid seems to think we got paid whether we were supposed to work or not). Well yesterday night, I noticed a transfer from Safeway to my bank for 47.50.....Yesterday was the first and only day I missed so far that I was supposed to work, but I don't think 47.50 would have been what I made for yesterday had I worked. I think I make around 15.50 an hour and yesterday my shift would have been 1:30-8:30 with prob a 35 min lunch. That doesn't add up to 47.50. Does anyone know what that could be, or do you think that WAS my covid pay but they only gave me part of it? What were your experiences?
