Servers and Bartenders of Sacramento - how much do you make?

A few years ago, I left the service industry for a corporate office job. Well, Iām now getting laid off from my office job and am really considering going back to foodservice because I enjoyed it so much more. Only problem is I now have a mortgage payment and Iām not sure if I can make it work on a foodservice budget.
For those of you in the industry, would you mind sharing your position and your approximate take home pay with tips? Iām curious how things have changed over the last 5 years or so.
