Source Filmmaker version 0.9.8.17 has been released. This update will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted.
The major changes include:
particles using the render_model renderer are now affected by projected textures, including receiving light and casting shadows
added latest Team Fortress 2 content
added latest Source Dota2 content
added better support for non-16:9 renders
increased shadowed light limit to 12
added new import functions for .FBX files
changes made to .VMT files are now instantly updated
added option to reload .MDL files, you can use the
r_reloadallmodels
console command for thisadded dynamic lights. These lights do not cast shadows but are able to use half-lambert and lightwarps
updated engine branch to reflect changes to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive shaders
water shader now compatible with models
fixed sounds cutting off on a movie render
fixed transform axis handles being resized on odd circumstances
fixed lights breaking after the 180 FoV point
fixed lights not reflecting off of surfaces
fixed "Add scale control to transform" creating one multi-axis control instead of three single-axis controls
131.3 MB on my end.
NINJA EDIT: /u/Marukyu found out that cameras now default to ortographic view.
