The commentators on SportsNet LA are justifying it as "what would you rather have on your resume, perfect game or another World Series?" and "nothing is going to be won on a Wednesday afternoon in April in Minnesota"
There is no guarantee you are gonna win the World Series if you take him out, why the fuck can't you just let the man have his shot to achieve something that happens, on average, once every 6 years (21 perfect games since 1904, the start of the World Series era) and hasn't happened for 9 seasons ?
MAYBE you pull him out in September with playoffs around the corner, but this is fucking game 4 or 5 of the season, I have a very hard time believing two innings of pitching in April is going to affect your performance in October.
Dodgers are indeed a trash franchise
