Needing help to find a handheld for a beginner
Post Body

Hello there,

I'm absolutely new to the world of Retro handhelds and to be honest, last week was the first time I got to about it. Until now i just knew about the Smartphone Emulators, but thats just eww.

So of course I wanted to get some infos about the topic fast as possible so I'm reading and reading. I already found Retro Game Corps and read some articles there. Also I read a lot about different experiences and handhelds here. But now I'm not Sure which handheld ist the right one to get into this fantastic world.

I never played oldschool Games beside Pokemon in my childhood so im Linda desoriented. So I'm Just gonna play the popular titles first. I want to play in my garden or at home 90% of the time, 10% when im traveling. Also since I'm new to this world I don't want to spend that much money (100€ but less is better of course) and it should be newbie friendly.

These following handhelds seem to be interesting for me - Powkiddy V90 (I read that this thing ist a little Troublemaler. Also I think my hands could be to big) - miyoo Mini V2 (also too small I guess and overpriced since it cost atleast 80€) - Anbernic Rg351v/p ( both seem very interesting for me. But the p got two Joysticks the v just 1. Some people say it ist not a Point of interest, some say it ist important for some Games. The screen of the p is better for Gba games and the screen of the V is better for S/NES games and everything above.)

Maybe you know a device I didnt mention, which is perfect for me. I hope someone is able to help. Much thanks already !!
