Just had a M&G with new clients. There are so many small red flags that not sure if I would have booked. 1) Showed up way early without texting like I asked. Felt like they were trying to catch me doing something. 2) Got dog out without a leash. 3) Said dog is often stand offish with new people & dogs. 4) Had to pickup dog & carry inside because don’t listen. 5) As they put their dog down owner says he will probably mark a few things. So I said well let’s take him outside until he’s empty. 6) Dog is 16 they said & needs eye meds & cleaning few times a day. 7) Then asked if I watch many dogs because he often gets mad at other dogs & will show teeth & bite. But it’s okay because he’s old & small. 8) Now the best part after all this. The price seams a lot higher than our last girl who lived next door. Since he’s so small can you charge less? I don’t think they liked when I said I have 100% control over my pricing & could change my fees anytime I want. She then asked how much less I would charge them since he’s small. I said I could change not that I would change my fees. If anything I would charge you more for a dog that marks all over & doesn’t get a long with dogs. It’s not just poor people who are cheap they live in a $1.35m house & pulled up in a $100k plus Mercedes-Benz I know the price of it because I was trying to get my bride to pick out what color she wanted in same model. People you see the price on the app before you show up. Stop wasting our time thinking you will talk us down price. Also if you think you can get cheaper price you can’t have a dog with health & behavior issues. Rant over. Have a Great Day.
