Dogs keep pooping inside
Post Body

Hey everyone! I have been sitting on Rover for about a year now. Every time an owner brings their dogs over for boarding, within 5 minutes of drop off, the dogs are either peeing or taking a massive dump. Each time the owners are always like “they never do this at home”. I have carpet so I figured they smelled other dogs use the bathroom and thought it was ok. I got the carpet cleaned and got the pet waste treatment to hopefully get whatever smell indicator out of the carpet. However, the next day after cleaning dogs came in and pooped right away after their owner had just walked them. What can I do to stop this? Is my only option rip up the carpet & put flooring down?

Comments

Happens to me a lot, even with dogs that have been here many times. I assume it's just nerves. I threw away the rug I had!
