Help! Lost Pirate Romance Book that begins in Havana.. forgot title!

What was that book called...?

It features a young woman who's the daughter of the governor of Havana, a bit of a spitfire, with several suitors at the start of the novel, and the book opens with the Madre de Dios anchored in Havana, Cuba.. and she had just gotten a tour of the ship. I remember the back of the book saying she gets abducted, I believe. I didn't get very far in, but it's FANTASTICALLY written, with advanced use of language. The book got lost in my recent move.. and any help you might have would be EXTREMELY appreciated.. as, despite going through the top hundred results on Google for "Pirate Romance Novel", I can't find it, at all.....
