I am 18 and all participants and characters must be 18

Hello, everyone. You can call me Gray, I am 18M and my time zone is PST.

I am looking to find a long-term female partner who would like to start a roleplay based on Stephen King's longest novel, THE STAND. The book is ultimately about humanity, society, and good versus evil but I am more interested in the human parts of the story. I want to create our own, fictional characters and explore their actions, thoughts, broken dreams, and relationships. Of course, there will be conflict, action, romance, violence, et cetera. HUGE BONUS if you are able to play more than one character, (1 main OC and a couple side characters)

In the novel, 99% of humanity is wiped out by a plague known as 'Captain Tripps' and that is all you really need to know in order for us to roleplay together, there aren't any zombies or anything like that, it is just a post-apocalyptic America where the population is scattered and decimated.

I like smut, but I would prefer if it doesn't use up all of our focus. I'm comfortable with both first and third person (will go with your preference.) I like to talk out of character and get to know my partners, as I'm okay if it leads to something more. I consider myself literate (write and read well) and I will try to write as much as my partner so long as their writing is engaging and doesn't leave me wishing they would cut it down a lot. (I write about 3 sentences to 2 paragraphs depending on the scene, including dialogue)
