The tl;dr of it all was that I had been flagged as having abused the matchmaking system, and upon trying to state my case, I was disappointed in how the situation was handled by customer support. If you're curious about the details, you can of course read the thread--otherwise this wouldn't be much of a tl;dr, now wouldn't it?

I am very happy to report that a member of Psyonix just reached out to me on Discord with the following:

Hey Caeru,

We've taken another look at your case and have determined that we will be reversing the decision to exclude your account from receiving the Season 8 rewards.

Keep in mind that when we're looking at an account, we look for multiple factors like forfeiting and collusion, among others, that give us the context needed to determine if an account was abusing the matchmaking system and breaking the Code of Conduct.

We're sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!

And before anyone claims that the above feels like a generic response, I will say that he and I had a conversation following that which explained the situation. However, as someone who has in the past reported bugs and discussed issues with Psyonix, I understand the need to not disclose everything, so I won't be sharing any more of what was said--but I want to make something very clear: I am genuinely happy with the response and grateful that they took the time to reach out to me. So to Psyonix: Thank you. <3

And likewise, thank you very much for everyone in the community that supported me in the thread. I honestly didn't expect to get the response that I did, and I am grateful for your responses as well.
