First off, let me make this clear: I'm not trying to say the Breakout class of cars are outright bad, nor am I saying that you shouldn't play them if that's genuinely what you enjoy.
However, when comparing stats, I can't help but struggle to find a place in the current car selection for the Breakout. Octane, Hybrid, Dominus, and Batmobile/Plank all offer unique pros and cons over each other (assuming you treat the Batmobile and Plank as the same type, as despite their technical differences, they very nearly are).
Breakout though?
Its turning speed is comparable to the Planks. It offers nearly nothing in terms of how high it reaches from the ground, and while it holds the honor of being the longest car in the game, it does so at the cost of significantly less width.
As much as I want to love the Breakout class of cars--especially given that the Cyclone is, in my opinion, just downright beautiful--I struggle to find any practical reason to use them instead of the Batmobile or a Plank. It feels like Planks can do everything the Breakout can, but with added width to work with.
And really, how often do you think "damn, if only my car wasn't so damn huge?"
So, as the title suggests... am I missing something? Any Breakout mains out there want to change my mind?
And again, not trying to attack anyone for enjoying the car; if you love using the Breakout, by all means, more power to ya! I just... can't figure out what it would offer that would give someone a reason to use it over the Planks--other than familiarity or visual preference.
