Hey, so I've been playing RimWorld on my Steam Deck and I noticed that when speeding up, the game runs at 60fps when playing on Speed 1 and 2, but on Speed 3 the game slows to like only 10% faster than speed 2, it's kind of nuts.

Now, before anyone here attempts to immediately discredit me based on mod count or colony age, here me out.

-I'm currently playing a 1.2.3005 colony, and it lags on that, -When disabling all of my mods, it still lags -When switching to a version of my colony that was completely vanilla and with only 10-12 hours or so, it still lags -When running the latest version (1.4) with Ideology and Biotech disabled (only running Royalty) the game still lags

I EVEN tried running both 1.2 and 1.4 Windows versions under Proton 7.0_5) and STILL had the problem so it doesn't seem to be a Linux version issue.

Originally I had thought that RimWorld 1.2 was the problem, maybe there was some bug that only affected the Steam Deck, but running 1.4, the problem is still there, even running the Windows versions didn't change anything.

To clarify, when running at Max speedup, the game runs only ever so slightly faster than 2x speed, which really sucks because I basically have to play without it.

I've downloaded PowerTools from the Decky store in an attempt to run the game at 2 or 4 real core threads (hyperthreading/SMT off) and limiting the GPU clock to only 800mhz in an attempt to give the main thread's CPU more overhead to boost but this only increases the FPS by a few, from like 19-20 to 23-25.

Anyone else have this issue? I've tried googling around for other people's opinions and everyone seems to say the game runs perfectly fine, but I cannot get the game to run at even 40fps at 3x when completely vanilla on a young colony, so I'm confused.

If anyone has a Steam Deck, what FPS do you get when running 3x? Is it close to 60 or as low as 20 like mine runs? What version and what's your colony age/modcount?
