USDA loan, can I put money down?
Post Body
Me and my Fiance are looking to buy a rural house. I am interested in a USDA loan. I have the cash to put 8-10% down to lower our monthly payments. Is this allowed for a USDA loan?
Some googleing shows that for assest calculations for the loan you don't include any money that is going toward the purchase of the home, so i assume i could put money toward the purchase, but i can't find anywhere that directly states that.
