Ok, so here is my idea, Subaru will join the witch cult between arc 8-9 but he will not be bad, I believe that something will happen and he will end up like Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti in season 2. Then in arc 10 Subaru and Emilia will somehow break the spell and release the elves of the forest, and when they see Subaru they will scream in fear as he now looks exactly like Flugel, and when that happens we will finally have some explanation from the elves.
So what do you think? I thought about this because I really want to see Subaru in Petelgeuse clothes
