CONTEST CLOSED!!!

I don't like making decisions. It's hard, and it's no fun. So I turn to you, RAoA! The decision I need help with tonight is "where should I volunteer next?" I've thought a lot about it - do I want to stick to animal organizations? Do I want to get involved with politically motivated groups? After much deliberation and research, I've narrowed it down to three places:

1) a local women's shelter. They need childcare workers to monitor the women's kids while their mothers are doing group counseling, basic skills classes, etc.

2) the local children's hospital. Ideally, I would want to work up to visiting the babies who don't have people to come and hold them, but to start I would be visiting sick kids, entertaining bored/worried/upset siblings, that kind of thing.

3) a local food pantry. They need general volunteers to help hand food out, sort donations, keep up with paperwork, and other tasks. It's not super difficult, but it might not be as emotionally draining as the other two.
