Why don’t airplanes have parachutes for passengers?
Post Body
I been thinking about this for a while and wanted to see if anyone has a logical answer. Wouldn’t it make sense to have each plane equipped with parachutes for passengers in case of a plane malfunction? Why do they not do that? They have emergency exits, but that doesn’t seem to effective if the plane is going down. Thoughts?
