Post Body
This is the first of a few belated thanks posts to come. December 2021 and January 2022 haven't been the best months so I slid even further behind on thank yous. In no particular order:
- /u/comingtogetyoubabs - the unicorn postcard is adorable. I'm dreadfully late in acknowledging it because you asked me about Halloween. I do not dress up but I do have a lot of friends who are very creative and love making costumes.
- mystery sender from Bournemouth, UK - thanks for the adorable Totoro postcard. I loved reading about your birthday beach visit and teddy bear picnic. It sounds lovely!
- /u/nomutualfeelings - the Little Mermaid art of Disney postcard is great! I love the stickers and stamps you added to the back with your message.
- /u/teanvintage - the Starry Night postcard and stickers are wonderful! The foster dog has since been adopted and she did get along well with our other dog. Sadly, we had to put him down yesterday as his back legs stopped working and he could no longer stand. We had 15 great years with him so even though it was sad we knew it was the right thing to do.
- /u/baredoim - thank you for sharing your Samhain celebration ritual. Our family tends to enjoy a secular Christmas gathering where we share a meal and gifts with each other.
- /u/candybree - I'm impressed by how many stickers you managed to fit on your envelope. I've not tried to fit a lot on before and might need to start. I'm going to try your brownie recipe in the near future. I tried one a few weeks ago that brought me closer to success but wasn't quite what I was looking for. For authors, I've read a ton of Piers Anthony and Stephen King but am now branching out in to all sorts of stories. I just finished the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas.
- /u/satanekochan - the lovely butterfly card from Paperchase is so pretty! You included a wax seal on the envelope - do you have any tips for a newbie getting into sealing? Hubby bought me a kit for Christmas but I haven't tried to practice with it yet.
- /u/m0mmy_rhea407 - thank you for your lovely note discussing music, movies, books, and chocolate. I brought back some chocolates from my hometown last month and re-reading your note has inspired me to go eat another one.
- mystery sender from Brazil - thank you so much for sharing your recipe for bolo de fuba. I'm adding it to my baking rotation to try it out.
- /u/blu_modernist - to continue with the baking theme, thank you for the adorable chocolate chip cookie recipe postcard. This recipe is different from how I normally bake them so I'm excited to try this version. Have you seen any more bears on your hikes?
