u/FantasticStar7040 Happy holidays from rainy Washington! In my family, we don’t bake cookies. Instead, we make and wrap a lot of lumpia to give to my friends and family during the holidays. Not the most traditional thing out there, but it's good.

u/luxsloth I don’t mind having a card that’s a bit late. It’s the thought that counts when you send it out. For me, my sin is procrastinating on when to send out cards. Like, I’ll accumulate a pile, and then I forget to drop them off at my mailbox.. Oops.

Trese on Netflix has a special place in my heart because it focused on my culture’s supernatural folklore. The cast is mostly Filipino and the show is beautifully animated. Watch it when you have a chance.

u/alluu3 Thank you for the holiday card and some reflections of this past year. I’m in the same boat as you too, where I had to go back to in person learning for one of my classes. I totally agree with you on how interesting it is to be back, but for me I was more concerned for my classmates. I don’t know if the people in my class were vaccinated or not and it’s scary to think that one person can make all of us sick. Fall quarter went smoothly though, and I’m excited to get back into school once January starts up.
