Hello all!

A while ago I made a post about going through a tough time. You guys really pulled through and got me a bunch of cards and stickers, and it really cheered me up. I didn't expect to get so many responses & it took me a while to send replies to everyone who gave me their info (I sent out most of them last Friday) & then write this post.

Thanks again to everyone who sent me happy mail, my roommate & I didn't speak for a whole week & it was so tough so getting the mail really made me smile :) Luckily, I've since then made up with my roommate & things are pretty much back to normal. We both admitted that we wanted to enjoy the little time we had left together instead of arguing. We finally agreed on a moving date & I plan on moving to Europe in the beginning of August. :)

- u/happygumdrop Did you paint me this card?? Wow! That’s incredible, I haven’t had someone handpaint a card for me before, if that’s the case. I love Groovy 60s music too, and I’m definitely gonna tell that ATM joke to all my friends until they hate me.

- u/HowDoYouSayHello You have such a lovely handwriting! You’re right that it’s important to work communication. It’s really hard to open yourself up & let yourself be vulnerable. It’s very difficult for me to do that, though but my roommate & I were able to talk about everything thanks to our mutual friend.

- u/cswl I hope things are better for you now, as things have been better for me. I personally find it hard to go to therapy, so kudos to you for taking that step! Personally, I was able to get through by talking to my family almost every day on FaceTime, and listening to my favorite music. Getting all these cards really cheered me up to :)
