u/JibbatheCollector Thank you for the bookstore postcard! Sadly I haven't been to any bookstores recently, but some of my favorites are Literati in Ann Arbor, MI and obviously The Strand in NYC. In 2018 I read sixty books but then college got in the way and I only ever really read for class anymore! But I did start reading 2666 by Roberto Bolaño about a week ago and I just finished Thoreau's Walden for my English seminar. So hopefully many more books in the future.
u/pinktini Thank you for the Chicago postcard! I haven't been there since I was a kid, but I'll probably visit again someday. I'm hoping to travel this summer too, my parents are planning a vacation for late June, although I'm still a bit skeptical. More than anything, I hope I might be able to study in Russia this fall. Fingers crossed!
u/snerdboff Thank you for another postcard! I'm trying to figure out in my head why if Maryland is named after Queen Henrietta Maria that it's not... Henriettaland? I guess it makes sense, Henriettaland doesn't sound very good. Your stickers are also so cute!
u/not_napoleon Thank you for the art postcard! To answer your question, I believe The Chance is still around! I've never been there but I've certainly heard of it. I haven't been to a concert in almost two years now, I used to go to so many! To think that we used to get that close to other people is so bizarre to me now lol.
u/berryfrogs Thank you for the California postcard! I like that it has a vintage-y look, I always find old postcards kind of fun. I've never been to California, but I have been paddleboarding! I find it a little scary but once you get the hang of it, then I guess it's less scary.
u/mostlygoodthings Thank you for the Baudelaire postcard! I've never read any Baudelaire but I've heard so much about him because he was also an art critic and my friend took an art history class on him. Also, your handwriting is so beautiful and I just have to know, are you a fountain pen user? Because whatever blue ink you used has some wonderful shading and I have to know what it is! The purple ink is so pretty too!
u/808pgh Thank you for the postcard! I also love your vintage stamps, they're so fun to receive. My semester is going well, most of my things are in person but I'm definitely in the minority! I study Russian so the department is small enough so they can do that. What do you study? I hope your semester is going well too!
u/anfield456 Thank you for the postcard, it's so cute! I don't have any pets right now, my parents take care of my birds, but my roommate and her boyfriend have a cat! I haven't met him yet, but I plan to meet him soon
u/sippindatleen Thank you for the Lunar New Year postcard! It's so cute. I also noticed that you used the Lunar New Year stamps, I picked some up too because I like the design so much! Hope you also have a joyful and prosperous year
u/vmiko Thank you for the California postcard! Whichever weekend you described to me seems like it was a good time! My friend recently bought a fondue pot so we're going to have fondue this weekend and probably watch a movie, and I have a new movie watching buddy that I'm going to see on Zoom. I also might order Thai food tomorrow night... it's been a busy week so I probably deserve it!
