I literally had to chip away ice with a screwdriver for yesterday and today's mail! The ice was a half inch thick on the bottom of my mailbox! I'm so confused by our weather this week. It should not be this cold or icy in Texas!

AND I love the lemon drawing you did! I'm going to have a hard time displaying this one, because I love the inside AND the outside so much! On top of all that, the sticker you sent is wonderful, and what's more funny to me, is the quote on the back. My husband is named Jake, and while I know this is from Adventure Time, seeing "Jake loves you thiiiiis much!" and the arms forming the heart, and it being Valentine's weekend - it was just a really nice thing to see in the mail! I also loved hearing about your pet rats and Lily the cat! :)

(If it didn't, I have no idea who it's from - postcard included a first name only.) Anyway, thank you for the Dumbledore postcard! Especially when I see the Richard Harris Dumbledore, I always think of one of my favorite lines, "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends." Forget Harry winning the house cup, Neville is the true hero! :) I love the old stamps too! Funny how old first class stamps are now great to use for postcard stamps!

When my husband and I first started dating, I read The Little Prince out loud to him, and it is one of my fondest memories. Such a great quote that you included as well. "And here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see properly. What is essential is not visible to the eye."
