What a year it has been, RAoC! It’s ending on such a high note because of all of you wonderful people. I’ve recently received some absolutely amazing cards from the following folks:

  1. u/hummingblurp - your card made me laugh out loud! You couldn’t have picked a better one to send. You’re right, it really does sum up 2020. You also have such lovely handwriting! Thank you for the well wishes for my grad school applications and for my dad’s job. He doesn’t get a ton of mail, so he has absolutely loved these cards! Thank you so much!

  2. u/Thanksgivingroast - yellow is my absolute favorite color, and you chose the perfect shade! It cheered up my mailbox and is now cheering up my desk. The stickers and adorable tape on the back was the cherry on top :) I hope you have a bright and happy new year!

I’ve also received two other cards from RAoC users, but I don’t know who they came from! Please help me find these folks so I can properly thank them.

  1. Someone sent a heavier letter. I was quite confused, but when I opened it, I was floored to find a CD! It’s of The Modern Jazz Quartet. We have always enjoyed their music (especially Bachianas Brasilereiras), so you sent the perfect CD! I accidentally got some cards mixed up, but I think that this came in an adorable snowman card with glitter on the front. If anyone recognizes this, please let me know so I can thank this sender!

  2. Someone sent the cutest Christmas card that plays Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree when you open it! My dad thought this was the coolest thing. He also really appreciated your kind words. He considers teaching to be one of his greatest joys in life, but it means even more when people appreciate his effort! It looks like you wrote “sorry, stupid pen” at the bottom by some of the smudged ink, but then your username must have gotten smudged too. Please let me know if you sent this!

Again, thank you all SO much for taking the time and effort to send cards. It brings so much joy to my dad and I in such a difficult year. We can only hope that 2020 will be better!
