Again, a bajillion thank yous in a single post is not my preferred route, but needs must, as I've been late in posting, and I'm very sorry. I get overwhelmed easily. I try not to let it get to me, but here I am, sitting down in front of my computer, thanking you and saying sorry. :)
u/aizawashota: Thank you so much for the cherry blossom card! It really is lovely! Thanks for the wish, I hope your day is great too! In fact, I went to take a walk earlier, which turned into reading in the park. Technically a bad idea since it was super cold and it was snowing. I'm not a fan of winter settling in already, but snow is always pretty. So my day was good!
u/libertyprogrammer: Thank you so much for the Wall of China card! It's such an impressive construction, and it's crazy to think that generations of people lived and died while this was being built. Those stickers are super cute, and I love your handwriting! Also, I too would love to visit China some day. Mind, things have to change, first, but the history is mind-blowing. And the landscapes!
u/crispyvuitton: Thank you so much for the sunshine Pantone card! Can you believe that the mail people smudged ink on it? Fortunately yellow is the best colour and brings out the best all the time, so we're all still super happy. :D Canada is pretty huge, which part do you want to visit?
u/raggycatempress: Thank you so much for the majestically communist Moscow underground postcard! Also love those Swedish dog stamps, very cute! Lenin looks like his nose is itchy, gotta say. XD Probably the angle from which the photo was taken! A great day to you too!
u/mermaidisaster: Thank you so much for the Philadelphia card! Yeah, that was a terrible debate, and unfortunately I was working on the evening of the second, so I couldn't bathe in all that, but I did watch the debate where Pence had a fly on his head, and that was one of the highlights of 2020. Also, honestly, Philly, you did good in this election. :D So thanks for that! Hope the Gritty memes are good! (Boo Flyers tho XD)
u/tomatomoth: Thank you so much for the elegant kraft paper and gold foil postcard! Sehr schön! Muss aber fragen, kostet die Versendung wirklich weniger als vor einingen Jahren? (The cancellation is kind of printed halfway on top of the stamp, so it looks like it says 0,20 Euro) Als ich in Deutschland lebte, waren Briefmarke innerhalb Deutschland 0,45 Euro, und 0,85 Euro für's Ausland. Echt geil aber super unfair für mich, da die hier von 1,85$ zu 2,70$ in den letzen zehn Jahren gestiegen sind. XD Your card was super cozy to receive and to read! We had unseasonably warm weather last week, maybe it's because of your wishes for sunshine? No kidding, it was 22 C. May your day be very lovely as well, and may everything be well for you!
u/mypetitmal: Thank you so much for the vintage butterfly card! It's very nice! Such a shame they smudged the cancellation all over it, though. Why do they do that? The Halloween stickers are so cute! Wishing you a great day too!
u/cassiopeia88: Thank you so much for the cute Halloween card! How did you end up dressing up? I wasn't working on the day of, which I usually am, so it felt weird to dress up and stay in the basement! In the end, I painted my face as a Piet Mondrian painting. We had some candy, too! Have a great day!
u/welshfancy: Thank you so much for the beautiful handmade autumn card! It's gorgeous! You are remarkably gifted at crafting! Has the weather changed at all where you are? Here last week was unseasonably warm, 22 C on one day! Now it's back to normal, and I wish it were summer again! It's been snowing today, but not enough to stay on the ground... At least I have this cheerful card to melt it out of my mind!
u/LaCuntessa: HOLY SHIT. Dude. Thank you so much. I have no words. Ok, that was such a massive envelope, and the stamps were really awesome. I didn't know hip hop stamps existed! The Basquiat card was absolutely lovely! It's actually so funny that I only discovered Basquiat recently, and actually through u/SchaffaWarrant52's Basquiat card offer, so it was so dang awesome to discover more of his work. I can't begin to thank you enough for sharing (well, giving XD) so many cards from your collection with me. These are brilliant! Funny thing is, the first one I saw was the one with the shirtless military men, and I was like that looks kinda gay, and then the Russian dude with prison tats, and the Mounted Police, the Eric Stanton one, the Polish shirtless guy sculpture where he's in a cog, the Ludwig II looking out at the mountains, and then I got to the two Tom of Finland cards and went oh yeah, that's definetely gay. I am not the most intelligent guy. XD I am so stoked, though. I really have a thing for Tom of Finland's art, too. Omg, dude, thank you so much. You have made me so happy. I can't possibly thank you enough. I hope you are doing well and everything in your life is beautiful, and you are as happy as you make others.
