Today I received a very suspicious letter/mailing (whatever it was?) in an envelope in my mailbox. How it got in there I cannot deduce. (Nor am I able to figure it out.) That's because I'm not really up-to-date on the current state of deductive reasoning or figuring it out. If anyone has the personal telephone number for the director of the FBI, I'd appreciate it being sent my way "tout suite" (I think that's French for "whenever you get around to it"). Because I'm sure this will be a priority for the FBI, CIA and every other law enforcement agency throughout the entire world to pursue.

Here's what I perceive to be the situation. First, look at these pics!. Now you can see from the top picture, of a depiction of the envelope, that there is something very sinister about this whole scenario. Look at those lethal looking stickers and washi tape. I was trembling with fear and anticipation as I gingerly carted the suspicious item into my abode. Upon opening the envelope (while in my abode, of course) I discovered it displayed a poster of a dog on a bicycle. A light bulb moment lit up over my head. Although I couldn't actually see the light bulb hanging over my head. "This is a poster being sent out of a missing dog on his bicycle either heading out to deliver a surprise package to someone (see surprise package in bicycle carrier in pic 2) or taking home a surprise package (again see surprise package in the bicycle carrier) that this dog on a bicycle had received", I thought methodically. Now, I must say I rarely see a dog riding around on his bicycle at any time of the day or night with or without a surprise package. Actually no more than 5 or 6 times a day or night do I see dogs doing their bicycling thing around and about the neighbourhood. Therefore, this is very unusual for a dog to be taking a bicycle excursion with a surprise package being transported in his/her (gender unidentifiable in pic! - this info is being provided for you law enforcement dudes that are tracking this very intense situation!) bicycle carrier. So, now I'm supposed to check my area, I presume ruefully, to look for a bicycling canine critter on the loose. "I wonder if he's wanted for a mugging, or something, and stole the surprise package", I mused.

Wait a minute. Hold the presses. Stop the presses. There's a bunch of people lurking over my shoulder while they shake their heads forcefully as I lay out the particulars of the situation for you readers. Apparently, I've misconstrued this whole situation and blown it all out of proportion. Well, you can tell the FBI and CIA to stand down. I'm being told, in no uncertain terms, that the mailing I received was a Thank-You card. Supposedly I had mailed off cards to this person who sent out the Thank-You card. Well, are my cheeks suffused with red as I blush with profound embarrassment. So, I better turn this whole posting around and dump this load of fake news into the sewer where it belongs. Okay everybody just ignore everything I've said up to this point, let's all settle down and pretend it never happened (I know I'm going to pretend it never happened).

No No No Never). And I love your handwriting! "Really groovy!" as the hippies used to say! Well, have a good day everyone and I think I'm overdue for a triple dose of my anti-psychosis medication. I'm going to go and hide in my closet (where the men in the white coats, lugging my custom-tailored straight jacket, can't see me) while I drug myself back into some semblance of sanity. I really need to find an "OUT OF ORDER" sign to tack onto myself. Or maybe, a "WELL PAST ITS BEST BEFORE DATE".
