Camels and Steamboat and strudel, oh my!
u/wafflish: never lose that cowboy spirit!
I'm sorry about how wrinkled the card is. There's actually an adventure behind why it got wet! Your envelope got lost (you put the address of a neighbor on it, my house is number 25, not 29) and it sadly spent a night in the rain in a leaky mailbox.
Imagine my surprise when I got a message on Facebook asking me if I lived on my street!
I'm going to try and do my best to fix it, squash Steamboat under some books until it gets its shape back. I'm not giving up!
u/mmmyesplease I had no idea Texas used to have feral camels! I actually grew up in DFW, but never heard about that episode in Texan history. That's so interesting and funny, honestly. I wonder how well the Camel Corps did?
u/LeeElla back at it again with the awesome stamps! My favorite has to be the fat horse who looks like an apple. It's so doofy looking. (Forgive the fur- my cat has decided that your card is his favorite thing to sit on at the moment)
u/ilata66 (? I can't quite make it out)
Polak, Wฤgier dwa bratanki :) Is the one you sent me closer to the Hungarian style or the Austrian style? Either way, I'll make another thank you post when I actually make the cake!
