Dear u/gigi700gigi, what an amazing bunch of happy mail you have been sending me! I’ve been seriously and happily flummoxed as to how to thank you!!! So in response, I’ve been sending you a bunch of mail too, hoping you like it. But enough of that... let’s get to the lovely stuff you’ve sent... ( I may have mixed up the chronology of cards received as well as the envelopes in which they came. Please forgive!)

1. Turtle card, band aid, triangle patterned washi ( red, yellow, black & white colours that you matched using aptly coloured pens ). The hummingbird, butterfly, owl, xoxo stickers and Halloween stamps on envelope. This was the first card you sent in this whole group and it was a huge and pleasant surprise!!! Thank you for your kind words! Interesting to read about how you only get 3 months of warm weather where you are.

2. Lenticular Dog Postcard: This was most amusing and slightly terrifying because dog “teef”! Lol. ( Also Halloween stamps).

3. Postcard: Ancient site with stone arches (?). What a beautiful postcard! You are right, it does remind one of Gobekli Tepe and Sacsayhuamán. I’d never heard of the latter so I looked it up and loved knowing about that site. You mentioned in this card: “I hope you’re enjoying your postal windfall”. Yes indeed I was loving it! Very cool blue & pink heart washi tape coordinated with sparkly blue and pink heart stickers! :) Halloween stamps!

Throughout the time I got the first three items from you, it had been raining off and on during the days especially. So imagine me: picking up the post as I would go out the gate...and going about the rainy days with your cards/postcards on the front passenger seat of my car...the wipers swishing away the cold rain and a kind of warmth in my heart due to the happy mail! :)

1. Pretty red notecard with “Stash” licorice spice herbal tea bag: yummm! :)

2. 1 Turquoise-ish note card with a beautiful First Day of Issue ( “Antillean Euphonia” ) Cover. Loved it! Also absolutely loved the gorgeous “Halloween foil stamps” ( the cat the the spider ones! See pics, link above.) Great coordinating these with the hilarious grumpy cat sticker and pretty kitty & paws washi on the envelope!

3. A red notecard in a red envelope with a funny googly eyed kitty sticker, lenticular dog postcard. The envelope decorated with kitty washi, cute dog washi, butterfly sticker and Halloween stamps. Loved it all!!! Indeed this was the second lenticular dog postcard you sent me! No worries, it was pretty amusing to meet this dog again!

4. The Fairbanks Alaska postcard, together with the beautiful First Day of Issue cover ( Summer Garden flowers - Gladiola ) ! The envelope was decorated with hand drawn purple flowers/green leaves design (coordinated with the Gladiola cover! ) , grumpy cat sticker and the pretty cat “Halloween foil stamp”! I made a gif type video ( see imgur link) to show just how pretty and sparkly the foil stamp is!
