[Thank You] Waterlogged Gratitude

These cards have been fairly swimming in my postbox; I fished a few out thoroughly drenched. An amiable antidote to awful weather!

u/travellincat x2 - Thank you for the World Postcard Day card; I am hereby providing you with a little nudge on the side of creating your own card, which would be very cool! Thank you for the card catalogue card, too; Dostoevsky is very apt -- I read an essay comparing his critique of the confessional genre alongside Tolstoy and Rousseau just yesterday. I'm also reading so much less than I'd like; in terms of reading routine, I tend to lock onto books and snatch at any chance I get (in transit, etc.). What do you write?

u/LeeElla - Thank you for the '地獄変' postcard; I like the art a lot! I'm enjoying the individuality of each figure; my favourite is the guy with a chicken head hat looking dead ahead (it would probably by my own outfit of choice in the procession). Halloween is celebrated in the UK, and I used to go trick-or-treating, but I tragically wasn't allowed to eat most of the sweets...

u/larche14 - Thank you for the floral postcard; I have recently read 'Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow', as it happens -- did you manage to get around to it? It's not a bad read! Sending you a boost for your goals.

u/DPClamavi - Thank you for the beautiful hare card. A black cat is a classic, timeless choice of familiar; a dragon does open up all sorts of questions (and practical headaches)!

u/rosiealeo1 - Thank you for the Pusheen card, which is somehow a perfect card (framing, proportion, art, cuteness). I like autumn too, but I've been robbed of crunchy leaves by rain and rain and rain.

u/thecaledonianrose - Thank you for the national park World Postcard Day card, and the good wishes -- right back at you!

u/peachessandtea - Thank you for the World Postcard Day card, my very favourite official design of the lot: the fox is so charmingly alarmed!

u/somewhatfoolish - Thank you for the Mucha card; I was tickled by the appearance of 'The Secret History' -- it was very formative for me, at one point! I maintain a very strong interest in both the Classics and campus fiction.

u/PhilosophyWest5945 - Thank you, and Cousin Temperance! May her campaign survive her hapless secretaries.

u/LightsOfASilhouette - Thank you for the national park card!

u/Aviana9 - Thank you for the orchid postcard!

u/rennbrig - Thank you for the 'Abstraction White Rose' card, and the lovely sentiments.

u/AmbivalentWaffle - Thank you for the 'Oh My Gourd!' Halloween card, which is quite delightful!

u/jmacrb - Thank you for the Halloween card; I am very interested in your recycling bin and Hershey Bar outfits -- those two are not quite like the rest!

u/jess_4943 - Thank you for the Halloween card -- a Halloween pack, really, with the stickers (much appreciated) and the themed envelope! I love the concept of goat-farm-pumpkin-carving -- essentially a cat café; the more of these things, the better!

u/Fyrestarr - Thank you for the Halloween card and the stickers (I really like the design of the pumpkin one). I'm sorry to report that I'm not convinced that the card does glow in the dark, unfortunately, but I had a good time cupping my hands around my face and squinting hard at a Dracula drawing for a while!

u/AlfredTheButt-ler - Thank you for the Halloween card, stickers, and endorsement of my film tastes! I haven't seen 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' -- I shall have to give it a peek.

u/kittycatcon - Thank you for the witchy-bat-in-a-pumpkin Halloween card; it is so, so cute!
