Congratulations on overcoming your driving fears (I love that your instructor booted you into the deep end of the pool); I had some lessons a while ago, and oh boy, was I terrible on the road — a quivering bag of nerves. And another thank-you for the ostrich card and your account of your Lunar New Year celebrations; it’s reminded me, in particular, that I haven’t played mahjong in ages. It’s nearly a month since you sent your card, so I hope you’re all healed from your tooth surgery now (I’m still…waiting to see if infection will strike…). Oh, another tooth thing — my cat went to get his jabs a couple of days ago, and the vet tutted that his teeth are getting a little yellow, and instructed us to brush his teeth every day. I made an attempt yesterday…it did not work. He was not impressed.
