Introduction

Hello, Random Acts of TF2! Since this was a pretty big hit last year, we've decided to make it an annual occurrence.

In this event, gifters may contribute to a community pool, which, when the event ends, will be raffled off randomly to all gifters who sign up.

Signing Up

To sign up, you MUST be a gifter. This means you must have some sort of identification as a gifter to enter (gifter flair, basically). It IS required to have been a gifter prior to this event. Please comment on this thread to enter.

Once signed up, you can contribute to the community pool by trading items to our storage account. Contributions to the pool must be worth a sum of at least one key. Please identify yourself as your Reddit username when you send the trade offer.

Here are the requirements for items donated to the pool:

• Must be worth at least a key
• Can not be currency (keys, refined metal, reclaimed metal, scrap metal)
• War Paints are accepted, but not counted towards total value, unless under the conditions listed below.

War Paints are not typically counted towards the total value due to the volatile nature of their price. The only exceptions to this are War Paints which are clearly over the minimum value. As such, War Paints will not be counted to the total value unless they meet these criteria:

1. The Paint is an unusual.
2. The Paint is a strange that is above Freelance Grade quality.

Users who contribute to the pool will receive the Philanthropist's Indulgence.

To summarize, these are the requirements for entry:

• You must have proof of being a gifter to enter.
• You must comment on this thread.
• You must contribute to the pool to receive the Philanthropist's Indulgence.
• Contributions to the pool must be worth a sum of at least one key.
• Currency will not be accepted.
• War Paints will not be counted towards the total value unless circumstances are met.
• Contributions to the pool must be sent to the Random Acts storage account.
• You must identify yourself by your Reddit username when sending the trade to the storage account.

Deadline

The deadline for entering and contributing items is April 30th. After this, items will be distributed randomly to all participants.

The Process

After the deadline, we will manually scramble who gets what items, similarly to how we determine who gets matched up with others in the Birthday and Christmas events. All participants will receive at least a key's worth of items when all is said and done. This will take some time, as it is done manually. It should be done before the 8th of May.
