raingear for rainy rad riding?

Gear question for e-biking in general, but since I ride a Rad, I thought I'd ask this group.
I have a 7-mile commute in Seattle. Often there's precipitation. Got all the gear for it (rain jacket, glasses, rain pants) except the shoes. Right now I use a pair of sturdy sneakers that I have treated with Neverwet, but that doesn't seem to be up to the challenge.
Any tried and true recs for waterproof footwear that's decent for pedaling?
(Would prefer not to use overshoes or shoe covers.)
