Tips for long car rides with buns and a dog?

Post Body

I have an 8 hour drive coming up soon for a relocation. I have a dog and two buns that are coming along with me. I have a relatively small kaytee cage that was my one guy's first cage when he was little, but I can't put that in the back seat because the dog needs the back. Dog won't sit up front unfortunately. I have a cat carrier for vet trips, but seems like a tight fit for two of them on this long of a trip.

Any suggestions on the best setup to not stress them out too much?
