I'm a single trans guy living in Maryland, right outside of DC, with my dog, cat, and houseplants.

Here's a list (I love lists).

• Divorced, no kids, but have several niblings that I adore.
• I read a lot and spend too much time in bookstores. I love the smell of books.
• I collect vinyl and love browsing through bins at record shops
• I love cooking. I haven't quite mastered cooking for one, but I'm working on it
• I love photography and love being behind a camera
• I love working out, mostly lifting, but haven't been to the gym much since the pandemic started. I do workout at home but it's not as fun.
• I love a good sour beer, a nice glass of wine, a nice whiskey on the rocks, or gin mixed with fresh juice, but hardly drink anymore
• I occasionally smoke cannabis and eat edibles, but it's not an everyday thing
• I'm neurodivergent and that sometimes means I am awkward, but I promise I'm not awkward all the time
• I'm kind, gentle, caring, funny, and don't mind being vulnerable
• I spend a lot of time organizing and doing advocacy work

What I'm looking for (another list)

• A human person (sorry to any orcs out there, we're just not very compatible physically speaking)
• Someone single (if you think we'd make good friends then I don't care what your relationship status is, but if you're interested in pursuing something more than friendship, please be single)
• Someone in their 30s or 40s
• Someone who is willing to do the work needed for personal growth. Therapy is an important part of my life and I'd like to be with someone who is willing to be in therapy separately and/or together (I realize therapy is not accessible for everyone and would never not date someone who can't be in therapy right now)
• Someone who believes that human rights matter and that equality doesn't necessarily mean equity

I know that's a lot for Reddit but I wanted to set my expectations right from the start. I'm open to a long distance relationship with the understanding that one, or both, of us will move so we can be together.
