Greetings and salutations fellow Redditors, I hope this finds you in incredibly fine fettle! Uk guy hailing from the midlands here. My time has often just been spent working, wrangling my children or vegetating to tv/nerding out on my laptop. It’s a good enough time as any to make a few changes to that schedule, (clearly the latter, I’m not quite at existential crisis yet!) make a few new friends and see where it goes. I’m stuck in a town that I don’t dislike, but it’s certainly not home. It’s hard to put down roots with a niggle in your mind that you’re not quite where you should be, you know? Yes, it is a spanking new profile and there is a lot to be said for rummaging through someone’s page but I’m back on Reddit after a lengthy absence, so all I ask is that you ask questions instead as answering at this point is all I have to offer. So I guess I’m a bit stuck in my ways. I’m listening to the same bands as I did when I was young, for example. That doesn’t mean I’m ignorant though and a fresh perspective and a gentle nudge in the right direction doesn’t ever hurt, and a change is as good as a rest or so I’ve been told. In other news I don’t mind a good book either, and I probably overuse semi-colons and the Oxford comma; they’re both provide structure, an epic flow, and punchy delivery. I like to rant via the medium of a strongly-worded email too, and I’m often surprised that my sense of humour over Teams at work hasn’t found me on a list with HR. At this point honestly although I care who you are, I don’t care who you are. By that I mean everyone has their own motivations and reasons, and yours are your own. I’m single for example, and I’d appreciate your openness with yours. As for looks, I’m 5’10, sometimes with a beard depending on my apathy levels which is getting predominantly grey, it has to be said. Medium/average in most every way (although honestly I’ve lost like so many lbs these past few months as I’m stressed AF) so my health is now firmly front and centre of my get shit done list. Love dogs. Likely a cat whisperer. Flit between awkward and confident without blinking. As for my types, I navigate to curvy and cleavage for miles but that’s not a line in the sand or preference.
