Hi Reddit!

I recently relocated to Seoul from the US and have a new job, a new home in a new city, and a new(ish) social circle... I'm facing my new and sparkly life head-on with much vigor and anticipation! However, one aspect of it that was unfulfilled before remains the same, and I'm hoping to meet someone who can help me change that.

I spent most of my 30's establishing my career, and while I don't regret my choices, every now and then I think about all of the dating I missed out on and want to change things up a bit.

I'd like to start with something simple and fun, and am open to how things develop from there. Don't want to meet any parents or date with marriage in mind, but you might be able to inspire me to do both eventually.

A little about me:

- I'm an art director and work in several creative fields. I love my work and take it very seriously.

- Huge geek! Videogames (RPG's mostly, Zelda, etc.), anime/manga, sci-fi/fantasy TV and movies

- Love to cook/bake, explore new places/travel, work out (weights, swimming)

- Looooooove all animals. Currently living with 2 cats.

- Assertive, organized, and ambitious in work mode.

- Extroverted, cheerful, and easy-going in play mode.

- I enjoy deep, intellectual, and genuine conversations.

My work and other social obligations take up the majority of my time, so I think someone with his own stuff going on and a similar lifestyle would be a good fit. Obviously, we would both need to make some time for eachother, but I think this will happen naturally so I'm not too worried. I haven't dated in a while and I've been saving up a lot of affection to give to the right person ;)

One of my super-secret (and I guess not-so-secret now that I'm writing it here) dreams since I was a kid was to find a boyfriend or lover who I can watch anime with... why is this so hard?

I would love to hear from you if the following apply:

- you currently are living in, or will be relocating to Seoul permanently.
*EDIT* It seems this part wasn't clear enough based on the messages I've been receiving so I will repeat this again: I am only interested in meeting someone who is currently living in Seoul, or is planning to relocate to Seoul soon. This is a deal-breaker and I am not making any exceptions, no matter how awesome you might be.

- You speak either English or Korean relatively fluently (since we need at least one common language!)

I don't like playing games unless it involves a controller. If you're the kind of guy who likes 밀당, or want someone who is going to smother you with 애교, I'm not the one for you.
