Here we are about to start the holiday season of not being at work and they threw me on the worst possible detail again. I managed to catch a Friday night staff duty shift. It's 39° outside, boring inside, and phone coverage is grim. I have been lucky enough to get a few calls tonight to walk over to the barracks to open the door for guys who managed to lock themselves out of their own room. If you stop by and drop me any words of encouragement to not fall asleep when it's just me and a TV in the corner with the obligatory bad military building TV channel playing. So here I sit enjoying yet another fine one of those nights at sweet Fort Campbell.
