Hey Reddit!

I'm a dude, recently released back into the wilds of Lake Date, who spends most of his time thinking about the more philosophical aspects of life. When I'm not thinking about thinking (about thinking), I'm playing a couple instruments, writing, and reading/watching lectures and YT interviews about psychology as a hobby. I consider myself intelligent, which I hope is going to offset the clear red-flag that is me being in between jobs right now. I've got one waiting for me working under a contractor in NM, but I haven't pulled the trigger quite yet, for reasons I'd be happy to answer if you asked me. I hope that doesn't dissuade anybody, but I feel like I need to be honest and upfront about it though, and I'd understand if it did.

I'm an LTR kinda guy, which is my ultimate goal here, although I'm looking to take things slow, to start. I'm looking for somebody who personally values honesty, integrity, good communication, listening skills, and a sense of humor (super bonus points if that sense of humor is ironic and black as pitch ;) ) about life. A penchant for introspection, a will to pragmatism (as much as one really can without disaster, of course), and an appreciation for the meaning (and maybe origin too) of the phrase "Sometimes a cigar, is just a cigar" are also big pluses for me!

So, even though I'd rather not, I feel like I have to put a disclaimer here at the end: I'm only interested in a monogamous relationship, and I'd appreciate your honesty, and respect in the matter. Thanks for understanding.
