Hi guys, I'm Robert.
Currently baby-sitting a tri-tip like a mother hawk, because as I forgot to trim the big piece of (highly flammable) fat on the back of it, I had to use every bit of the only fire extinguisher I had to put out the raging meat-inferno in my grill!
Of to a... "roaring" start? Eh? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh?
:D
Oh c'mon, don't look at me like that- I'm a nearly 40 year old on man on reddit. You knew a pun was gonna be in here somewhere.
Anyway, I'm occasionally passionate about a range of different things, long winded but I mean well, a problem solver, an aspiring pragmatist, a wearer of plain T-shirts and flip flops on hot CA summer days, a maker of mis-steaks (haaaaa snuck another one in there, YEAYAH!), kind hearted, open to experience, more than a bit stubborn at times but I know when to admit defeat, and a level of forgetful that ranges from cute, to moderately irritating.
Let's see... for my interests... TBH since the lock-down my hobby world has kinda shrunk, but right now I'm into the whole self-improvement thing. I watch a lot of pop-sci YouTube, sometimes dipping my toes into the more complicated stuff. Lots of YT actually- The guy who goes crazy for military MREs, story tellers like the Scottish CountDankula and his "Mad Lads" series, and especially Kyle Hill, and his "Half-Life Histories" series right now. Stories about Nuclear Energy, dangerous encounters with "Orphan Sources", and re-tellings of the Fukushima, 3-mile island, and Chernobyl disasters from his unique perspective are all fantastic.
Gettin' kinda long here, so I'll wrap it up- Stand up comedy is great, outdoorsy stuff, I play a couple instruments and love music ('specially prog metal but not limited to by any means), learning about new, and interesting things, talking about those things with people, and ahhh, I cook a bit! Roman carbonara is my go to crave meal.
So, I got out of a relationship a while back, and I'd figure it's time to slowly dip my toes back in again. If you feel so inclined, message me on chat, a comment, or message! I'd love to chat :)
I only have one rule/preference- If you're currently in an anything-ship with somebody else, I'd prefer if you didn't reach out. I'm not seeking a romantic, or platonic connection of any kind, in that context. Thank you for understanding.
Other than that, we're good to go! Thanks for reading, hope this wasn't too long, and I'm exited to talk to ya'll soon! :)
