Not my first time posting to r4r. Can't say any of the previous attempts have been very successful. Superficially, I've met some interesting people, but the ratio of long term chat/potential relationships to ghosting has never been in my favor.
Wonder if it has something to do with how I write my posts...maybe there's some magic combination of words that will get me the most bang for my buck.
It goes without saying I'd like to meet someone within a couple hours drive. Alternatively, I do like to travel, so not ruling out long distance, but Europe and Asia is kinda out of the question, sorry. Also, physical as well as personality compatibility is super important. Don't want to come across as superficial, especially since I'm not a 10 by any stretch of the imagination, but a spark has got to be there.
As for the intangibles, I'm a workaholic, a liberal, a pragmatist, and a stoic. I'm not religious but spiritual and believe the tenants of Buddhism ring true.
Things I like: bourbon, Thai and Indian food, serenity, learning new things, indie music, magnets.
Things I dislike: people's knees.
Things I wish for myself: wish I read more, took more time for myself/had more hobbies, and wish I took better care physically.
That's all I got for now. Maybe I'll get a few bites. Time will tell. DMS are open if ya wanna chat and get to know each other.
