Happy New Year! I start this year off by using the incorrect βto/tooβ in my title. Humbling!
β-
I'm 35, F, single/divorced, caucasion, brunette. liberal. no kids but very open to kid (not kids plural. that's too many :D ). Born and raised in the lower mainland. I'm out in the suburbs.
I've tried this before with older accounts I've since deleted. Tried to make a lasting and genuine connection. I'm not naive about what I could be in for. Usually, it's fleeting. And dating apps have been even worse! I'm mid-30s, divorced, plus-size (not a bug or a feature, just a fact about me) after all. Cute but not gorgeous by most standards. Iβm bit cautious to say the least.
But I'm also a romantic. A romantic who doesn't get out enough and has yet to meet the love of her life in her apartment (other than my cat). So here's me trying again.
I'm looking for a partner for the next phase of my life. Our life. Someone kind and straightforward and sweet. Age-appropriate (30s/40s), vaccinated. non-smoker. no heavy drugs. Open to kids. And local!
It would be great if we had similar tastes in things like music and movies, but I think that's less important than aligning in other aspects of life. And not nearly as important as knowing how to properly communicate together.
Important to note that I see my therapist regularly. I take medication for depression and anxiety. Sometimes I need something positive to look forward to and I've already been to Disneyland recently...
I like writing and self-reflecting. I swear I don't talk *this* much in person. but I do enjoy talking one-on-one. I really can't wait to talk to you if you are genuine.
Tell me a bit about yourself. Start with the basics and maybe tell me what the last concert you attended was. Or the last thing that made you smile.
