Hello! I'm a 30 year old guy living on the border of Chinatown and the South Loop in Chicago.

I'm looking for a local (Chicago area only) woman age 30 - 35, though there is some flexibility on age for the right lady. I'm not terribly picky in terms of appearance, though I do appreciate a woman who takes reasonably good care of herself, as I think most people do in terms of potential partners lol. I'm a leftist, but don't screen too hard on political matters, as long as you're not a right-winger. I do believe things like ecological overshoot and climate change post an existential threat to humanity and it’d be nice to date someone who takes such issues seriously. Also, I’m an agnostic but I am not necessarily looking for another agnostic or atheist. I have no issues with those who practice religion respectfully. I do appreciate women (and people, in general) who are intelligent, kind, patient, well spoken, thoughtful, curious, passionate about learning, nonmaterialistic, and not overly career-oriented.

About me: I like to think I have fairly disparate interests. I read a lot, mostly philosophy and political theory, with the occasional novel peppered in. Speaking of that, I am also writing my own novel! Maybe you can be a beta reader (I legit need one). My other passion is photography! Let me take your picture 😊

Beyond that, I'm a music lover, choosy movie buff, and foodie who wants to cook more and loves trying new restaurants. I also love the outdoors, although I don't feel like I get a lot of access to nature living in the city without a car. Take me camping in Wisconsin and I'll definitely fall for you! On weekends, you can catch me at a museum, book store, coffee shop, or taking a long walk around the city.

I do not drink alcohol but have no problem being around it. I don't really use THC products anymore, but, again, have no issue if you do.

I am 5’10” with a thin build. I work full time in the advertising industry (yeah, I want out lmao).
