Was it something I said? Maybe something that wasn't said. Am I too generic/bland? Maybe I'm just not what anyone is looking for, platonic or otherwise. Maybe I'm too old. Maybe my standards are too high.
Guess I'll try again. There's a Samuel Beckett quote that goes "Ever tried. Ever failed. No Matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better." Smart dude.
Maybe I'll keep it simple (stupid): I'm 40. I'm from North Carolina. Workaholic. Trivia buff. Nerdy/intellectual. Pragmatist. Introverted extrovert. People pleaser.
Interests: Several and diverse. Dislikes: peoples knees. Asian food: Yes, please.
Not sure what I'm looking for by posting here...friendship? long term relationship? Someone to chat with for like two and a half days only to have them ghost me? I'm open to anything at this point.
